London Center for Policy Research Announces Appointment of Ten Senior Fellows

New York, NY – The London Center for Policy Research (LCPR), a 501c3 (not for profit organization), today announced the appointment of ten senior fellows to its staff.

The London Center for Policy Research has several substantive goals that make it unique and critical. At a time of worldwide turmoil with the U.S. increasingly reluctant to play its traditional role as global enforcer, managing chaos will be a position thrust on America. This makes it imperative for LCPR to create a global map of growing “hot spots” along with methods necessary for control and management of them.  As a consequence, scholars are chosen for their expertise on every theme within every topic.

The scholars are:

Jed L. Babbin, former Air Force officer and Deputy Undersecretary of Defense in the George H. W. Bush administration. He is the author of In the Words of Our Enemies, Inside the Asylum:  Why the UN and Old Europe are Worse than You Think, and Showdown: Why China Wants War with the United States.  He is the former editor of Human Events.

Gordon G. Chang, author of Nuclear Showdown: North Korea Takes on the World and The Coming Collapse of China. He is a columnist at and blogs at World Affairs Journal.

General Aluf Yitzhak Gershon (retired), a former general in the Israel Defense Forces who led the Home Front Command in the second Lebanon war, now Director and CEO of Friends of the IDF.

David P. Goldman, author of How Civilizations Die (and why Islam is Dying, Too), the “Spengler” column at Asia Times Online and President of Macrostrategy LLC.

Clare M. Lopez, strategic policy and intelligence expert focusing on national defense, Islam, Iran, and counterterrorism. She is VP of the Intelligence Summit; a senior fellow at the Center for Security Policy, The Clarion Project, and the Canadian Meighen Institute; a Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute and a former operations officer with the CIA.

Deroy Murdock, a nationally syndicated columnist with the Scripps Howard News Service and a senior fellow with the Atlas Economic Research Foundation.

Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer (retired), former intelligence officer with 30 years of field and operational experience, recipient of the Bronze Star and a senior fellow at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS).

R. Emmett Tyrrell, founder and editor-in-chief of The American Spectator and adjunct fellow of the Hudson Institute.

Lt. Col. Allen B. West, 22-year veteran of the U.S Army and former Congressman from Florida’s 22nd district. He is currently Director of Next Generation Programming at PJ Media.

John C. Wohlstetter, founder and editor of the issues blog Letter From The Capitol, author of Sleepwalking With The Bomb and The Long War Ahead and the Short War Upon Us and a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute.
