London Center End of Year Update

Dear Friends and Associates,

Let me take this opportunity to wish you and your families all the best for the New Year. This note is also a chance to bring you up-to-date on the state of the London Center for Policy Research.

This last year was quite eventful. In the course of ten months an extraordinary array of senior fellows has been assembled including: Tony Shaffer, Jed Babbin, David Goldman, Walid Phares, Clare Lopez, Allen West, Gordon Chang among others. By any standard this is as impressive a list of analysts on foreign policy as one is likely to find.

Due to the collaborative efforts of Babbin, Goldman and yours truly a book on the Sunni Vanguard will be published in a few months.

In addition, the London Center has been sponsoring a seminar on the Hill for congressmen and their staff members. Some regard this seminar as a “must attend”event.

The Center has been referred to in the NY TimesThe Washington Times, the NY PostFox News,The American Spectator and The Wall Street Journal. Our fellows have appeared on countless radio programs including the John Batchelor Show, the Barry Farber Show and Laura Ingraham.

Articles about foreign policy abound as our website attests. As a former member of the Bush administration noted that “this is the most lively and interesting site on the web.”

In 2014 we will begin our lecture and seminar series in New York. On March 20th we will sponsor a seminar including Walid Phares, Jed Babbin and Colonel McGregor on the nature and deployment of military forces.

Yes, it has been a busy year, but merely the beginning of a journey. It is my goal to make the London Center the premier foreign policy institute in the country, one that is shaping the debate on international affairs and influencing decisions emerging from the Congress. This center is not merely a think tank; it is a “can do” tank.

Obviously the only way we can achieve our robust goals is with your help. During this time of the year many of you make charitable gifts. I would be humbled and deeply appreciative if you would consider the London Center on your list of charities. The Center is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization and any contribution is tax deductible. Please consider helping us and in the process help America.

Sincerely,

Herbert I. London
President

P.S. If you have already made an end-of-year contribution, please excuse this message. We greatly appreciate your generosity!
