Mr. McPhatter is an experienced professional with over 20 years of domestic and international government, military and private sector experience with a focus on the creation and delivery of value-based technology systems that provide results. Mr. McPhatter is a proven innovator and technology-centric entrepreneur having co-founded two successful software companies since 1997. He has extensive experience in commercial software development, systems engineering, large scale systems integration and data analytics, and a passion for business.
Mr. McPhatter co-founded TETRA Software in 2010 to focus on creating more intuitive and smarter technologies for multi-point systems integration and data analysis. The resulting commercial products are, collectively, TETRA® Platform. TETRA implements an innovative visual approach that speeds the integration process for any number or type of independent data silos and disparate computing systems. The platform includes hundreds of components and a hybrid-AI approach to produce valuable information in any context, in any format, and at any scale.
In 1997, Mr. McPhatter co-founded Visual Analytics, Inc. (now Raytheon Forcepoint), and focused on creating COTS software products for real-time information sharing, distributed search, and analytics across disparate information systems in Law Enforcement, National Intelligence, and anti-money laundering for customers in over two dozen countries. His experience in the U.S. included work with large business and government; including Deloitte, HP, Thomson-Reuters, Booz-Allen-Hamilton, DOD, DIA, CIA, NSA, IRS, FinCEN, NYPD, FBI, Washington/Baltimore HIDTA, New York/New Jersey HIDTA and dozens of other agencies across the United States.
Mr. McPhatter began his professional career in the United States Marine Corps in 1988 where he trained at the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center “NMITC” in Dam Neck and later served as an Intelligence NCO for an F-18 squadron; VMFA-321 at Joint Base Andrews.
Additionally, Mr. McPhatter serves as 2018 Financial Chair, Church Council for the Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church in Poolesville, MD.
Mr. McPhatter has been married to his wife Karen for over 25 years and they are proud parents of two sons, Bennett, Jr. and James. Bennett and his family reside in Boyds, MD.
