Ellie Benjamin Stern is a foreign policy and national security advisor, strategist, consultant and experienced congressional legislative expert. Previously, Ellie worked in the United States Congress authoring, negotiating and securing major legislative projects on U.S. national security and foreign policy, U.S.-Israel relations, and emerging national security threats: Iranian nuclear program, Syrian conflict, ISIS and the designation of foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs). Ellie has held multiple senior policy and legislative positions in the U.S. House of Representatives: Senior Legislative Assistant on both foreign and domestic policy, served as the first congressional policy advisor on Israel & Middle Eastern Affairs, and was a Staff Director of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus.
Ellie earned a master’s degree in European Studies with honors from the University of Dusseldorf Germany and a bachelor’s degree in Government with honors from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) of Herzliya Israel. He also holds academic certifications in European Union law, trade, & foreign affairs, conflict resolution, and international relations, and has studied at one of the oldest diplomatic school in the world in Vienna Austria. He has served as an expert panelist at London Center congressional briefings and policy conferences. Ellie has also served as a professor at the George Washington University.
