London Center for Policy Research to Educate Congress on Muslim Brotherhood Relation to Terrorism
New York, New York – The London Center for Policy Research (LCPR), a nonprofit “think and do” tank, after visiting in Egypt with that country’s top interim government officials, has decided to work to educate Congress as to why the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization, as Egypt itself has classified them.
LCPR’s fact-finding mission enables it to explain how America can work directly with our allies on policies of mutual interest and advise and assist Congress on formulating law and funding priorities.
In announcing this objective, current LCPR Vice-President Eli Gold said, “One of our key allies in the Global War on Terror, Egypt, has become destabilized due to the increased influence of the Muslim Brotherhood, and other radical Islamic militia. The fact that the Obama White House provided material and political support to the Muslim Brotherhood has adversely affected Egypt and its effort to establish a representative democracy.”
Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer, who represented LCPR in the meetings in Egypt, added, “The Obama administration’s foreign policy – especially in the Middle East – has been, and remains, inconsistent at best and destructive at worst. Our allies do not understand it, and our adversaries find benefit from it.”
Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood have been the two primary beneficiaries of the Obama administration’s foreign policy. Both have made major gains and continue to increase their ability to conduct operations to destabilize our allies and, as seen in the Benghazi 9/11/12 attack, are able to conduct strategic terrorist attacks and actions.
